What plans you got for your cars in 2011....

I PLAN to:
Clean up and paint the front legs, fit uprated front springs
Refurb/replace front brake calipers
Fit my 2.8i 'box
Fit a bigger rad
Fit an alloy catch tank
Fit some sort of electronic ignition and have the engine set up properly on a dyno
Drive the bloody thing!

As per the other similare post, Ive just bought a new GT30 Turbo and external wastegate and still to buy on the shopping list

And then I'll have to re-fit the bigger intercooler, I'd also like a sequential box in it at some point, but we'll see.

- Finish off the injection conversion (still waiting for the inlet manifold at the moment)
- Have the front struts converted by Gaz
- strip and rebuild the gearbox

And a load of other small things that I can't remember right now!

Buy some new AVO coilovers as the ones on at the moment are leaking and tired!!
Have the wheel repaired after I damaged it last month!!
Look around for another 18" Super T for a spare.
Give the car a "proper" clean inside and out...........................fooking weather is killing it!!!

And if I win the Lotto before all this gets done then buy myself an RS200

havent had my e30 long but plans are.
get lsd fitted in the next 2 weeks hopefully
fit quickshift
oil change
paint wheels either gloss black or grey
bucket seats and harnesses
underseal it
tidy the rusty back arch up.
i bought the car to use for trackdays ect and wasnt bothered about it lookin nice but as soon as i gave it a quick polish i started giving myself more jobs to do to get it lookin nice.
wouldnt mind a cage but would probs cost more than i paid for the whole car.

Not really got too many plans for the evo its pretty good as it is!

But i have a paddle clutch sat here waiting to go in
i fancy sorting the underside out as its really not protected at all from new and all the brackets and bolts are rotten like an escort!
probably get it remapped to make sure all is fine and hopefully get a bit more fuel economy or more power for the same amount of fuel which is easily done!
Oh and lots of trouble free trackdays fingers crossed

well engine and gearbox are mounted, fresh respray done. but i still need a radiator, bias pedal box, propshaft and then the engine needs "plumbing in" oh and get exhaust sorted

then hopfully its drivable and ready for classic ford show,

after thats done i got to get the front seats retrimmed, i'm thinking basket weave mk2 rs rolltops.

i have an atlas axle to go in to take the power but that can wait till the engine is run in.

and also some nice white rs2000 stripes.

Pick up my new 52mm throttle bodies for Honda powered Sunbeam @ the autosport show.
Fit the full rollcage and the seats and harnesses.
And then its fit the brakes and get an exhaust system fitted, then hopefully have it mapped and start using it
Sounds so easy when typing it!!

And also get a bit more work done to my Mk1 Cortina...(Loads to do) but engine should be built in the next few weeks

Been toying with idea of getting the engine rebuilt in the Clio but at the moment its running really well so cant see the point spending unnecessarily.The car has 108,000 on it now and still drives really well. it would cost at least £5000 to do a decent job with forged pistons etc.

jobs needed are
1. buy new sump
2. new set of harness needed
3. get new carbon front wings
4. MOT and tax it then get the map tweaked
5. leave in garage 10 years until retro AL finishes his escort to race me

monkey bike rebuild is happening now too its all in component parts atm its all getting powder coated ready to hit the road again this year

that lot should keep me poor and out of trouble

That said im half tempted to paint the bonnet and a wing to lose a load of badly touched in stonechips, plus i have the threatened underside resto! Failing that i still have my mk6 rs2000 which i think i might break out next year on a classic policy which needs a few bits of bodywork sorting out before its on the road again so the race is on!
