I think the mk1 looks better as a road car, turns more heads and as stated above some are tax exempt, and that dog bone grill clad in cibie's (just had an accident in my pants)

however i think the mk2 looks better as a race car/rally car, plus i think there are more bits for the mk2 to rebuild/mod/restore than the mk1's ?
