    cossy problem, advice needed

    hello guys,
just put my cossie rs2000 on the road last week the engine was built a couple of years ago by steve scott at a1 rally, it was in my 4dr mk2 whilst i built the rs anyway it seems to have developed a problem when under hard accelaration it seems to be missing and sounds like its spitting through the air filter what could the problem be?
    any advice appreciated

could be anything from plug gaps too big to something more serious like its running very lean on boost, are you using the same map sensor, ecu and turbo? did you adjust or change the wastegate?

everything is the same, but when trying to get it running in the new car it was flooding all the time it turned out to be a broken plug on the temp sender for the cold start, one of the boys was messing with the allen screw on the regulator and it has new plugs in it cheap ones from ebay,
the engine as far as i am aware is approx 450hp its got t38 hybrid turbo, 3 bar map sensor don,t know what actuator, grey injectors, ported head, bd15 inlet cam standard exhaust cam, rs500 intercooler etc.

what plugs do you recommend for it?

i think i will prob take it to a rolling road to get it checked over as i am unsure how to set fuel pressure.

My mk1 was playing about under boost & i replaced the ngk plugs with motorcraft 071c off e-bay & fitted new leads & cleaned all the multi plugs & smeared with silicone grease & she has been as good as gold. Also check gaps are good on crank sensor & plug gaps. Best of luck
