My 2.0 Zetec rolling road results

Thought this might be of interest to people on here. The engine is brand new (500 miles since installation) so perhaps a little more to come.

    Be interested in your comments.

    162bhp and 145llbs. Bog standard on 45's & Omex.

Was hoping for a more, but I guess this is about right for a standard lump. Feels so much better after set up though!

As Graham says, absolutely spot on for a standard motor, anything between 160-165bhp is where its at on 45's on a 2.0

With jenveys I was getting 10 more bhp so your engine is spot on, if you after more power cams would bring it up nicely

That sounds spot on, and more torque than my ST lump

Thanks guys. Will post graph up. I've got some Newman cams but the fact I need to modify the carriers slighty and then spend another fortune on setup has put me off. For sale maybe??

Thats a worry..... normally ST motors make more torque than standard Zetecs.

Do you know why its down ? What sort of power does it make ?

146 at the wheels sound pretty dammed healthy to me, all the above figs will be flywheel

Your are correct sir, all flywheel figures, mine made 151 at the wheels. My exhaust flows better than most.

I have 2.0l silvertop with 42mm jenveys, homemade exhaust manifold (not measured, just made it with my eye), ported 1.8l head and newman cams phase 3 cams. Made 150hp at the wheels.

Dyno I used, don't measure losses, but the guy did calculate with 15% loss around 177hp at the crank. I intend to go a better dyno where I can get a clean graph to show.
