they are powermax 1600 pistons which unmodified will give 10.5:1 in a 1600,

cant tell you the size from that number though, you will either have to meassure them or polish up the inside of the bowls and see if theres anything stamped on them

Nice one mate. Looked this morning at top of piston. I found 060l2 . That was stamped on top hedge not in bowl as nothing is in the bowl. Couple of numbers inside the piston are g1415 and kg4.

    Re: hepolite pistons

I'd say the 060 stamped on the top means they are 60 thou oversize. They should measure slightly under 82.5 mm

WOOOOOOW slow down matey, dont go ordering rings until you are sure of the piston size, ive seen nothing in the thread concrete enough size wise to order rings by! get someone who knows what they are doing to accurately measure the piston

I did this morning. Got directed to an engine builder by me. Who pretty much knew wot it was when I walked through the door lol. He measured up an made some calls. His supllier seemed sure he has got the right rings so I left it with him. And u guys were right it's over by 060.
Fingers crossed they turn up and fit

    Re: hepolite pistons

I think you measure nearly a mm difference between piston size and bore size as you didn't measure the piston in the right place - you should measure them 1/2inch up and across the skirts at 90 degrees to the gudgeon pins.
Pistons are narrower at the top (to take into account heat-swell).
