I would like to display my Escort at the Autosport show this year and wondered if anyone knew of a company that required a race car for their stand?

It's very very difficult mate, The stands cost a fortune.
My car will be there on the SBD motorport stand, To celebrate SBD Motorsport's 20th Anniversary (1992-2012) we are having our own stand at the Autosport International Show 2012, Hall 8, Stand 8315. Matt Downer's Escort Mk2 will be on the stand along with SBD Vauxhall, Duratec & Hayabusa display engines.
Come & see us between 12th - 15th January 2012.

good luck mate, space is so expensive you dont have much chance,
my motorclub looked into it it was going to cost us a grand just to get a car on display, let alone travel costs etc

Just got back. Not a bad show. The live show was a big disappointment tho.
Have all your dumps at work!!!Not only will you save money on toilet paper, but you'll also be getting paid for it.
Don't do the live show. Pint sounds good
I went mad throw caution to the wind and did both. It nearly cost as Much for the pint as the show.

At previous shows there did seem to be a price increase in some bars, Think it was Andy or Dave that got stung.. same round.. something like a tenner more .
So if anyone finds a pubprice bar.. add it to here
not sure which bar we were in but boddingtons just under £3 a pint
I was there on the Thursday with Steve G from Race Engine Calibration. Plenty to see as always.

I was a little disappointed in total really...
I have enjoyed previous shows more.....not enough for the grass roots level I thought...
