that looks an absolute beast
Great work
Thats seriously gorgeous, i am picky but the exhausts slighly abit big, but does look "rude"
yes the jury is still out on that tail pipe but the system came off the doner sierra & thats wot I got but I have made a 3" tail to fit instead but may live with the 4" tail for a while as it is the last thing that someone will see. thanks for the comments though tawny.

well done tawny, you've done a great job on that

Thanks for the recomend on the insurance, all sorted now & hows the mk2 coming on. tawny.
ALLWAYS EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
no probs. glad you got it insured in the end
the mk2 is coming on slowly as i haven't had alot of spare time lately but i may be forced to sell it soon as could be loosing my unit
love the colour mate
I love the color too. Is the correct name of the color tawny Brown or bronze?
Love them tires too.
very nice mate, well done
the only thing i would have different is a smaller tailpipe and matt black the rear silencer because when you look at the rest of the car its lovely but still looks a bit of a sleeper and the exhaust is a bit too bling by comparison, but hey its not my car
well done mate, top quality build here guys and mostly by him.

As Graham says, the exhaust is too big...

top job!! love the colour, looks perfect.
Thanks it looks a bit different to when I first got the car { but it was originaly a rare tawny brown mexico before one of its many owners in the late 70s decided to paint it white } so back to the original colour with my own twist of metalflake which slightly lightens the colour to a bronze & adds a slight sparkle in the sunlight cheers tawny

WOW.................been waiting for someone to build a MKI is brown................just so right.
That is one very, very pretty car - and fingers crossed just in time for the good weather.
Out of curiosity what did it look like without the side and boot strips ?
I once saw a plain Tawny Brown Mexico years ago and it left a lasting impression.
That's going to drop a few jaws when it's out and about....................well done, she's superb.
PS - Exhaust looks so much better - I'm also a 3" tail pipe man

Hi mate, very nice job looks great. What type and where did you get door mirrors? Not sure whether to fit to mine,... but yours look goooord!
The mirrors were off Ebay & are copys of the original winguard mirror £55 ish, a mate of mine has just replaced his bullet mirrors with a pair of these as the rear view was poor with the bullet ones. hope this helps tawny

What a car. Liking the colour
RWD Escorts - Making the competition look like c**ts since 1968!
A couple of pics when the sun was out & not raining.
Done about 1000 miles with no problems but a leaky heater matrix may stop a visit to the AVO day this weekend unless it is trailered there as I dont fancy ruining a new engine.
Sent a spare matrix to be re cored but it wont be back in time.
cheers tawny
