Yes be very careful, I had a friend who got a clutch there and was not what it should have been, they said it was the 'same quality as' they in the end did swap it out but only after a lot of calls etc.

Not this company that I know of but I have also been told about people on ebay with pictures of AP Racing boxes and receiving Borg and Beck reconditioned plates and covers.
Might just be worth asking the question "is this a genuine AP Racing kit, is the bearing from AP and what are the part numbers"

Thanks for the reply, I have sent a email asking for the part numbers etc no answer yet.
Ive just bought an AP clutch for my escort and apart from thicker fingers on the cover it even has the same part number as my standard LUK clutch and the plate is the same but with bigger damper springs made me look twice lol
Received the the clutch kit from www.techniclutch.com all in ap boxes part numbers seem to match, seems to be a genuine kit which is surprising if you google the company and read they have been substituting the covers and plates for cheaper brands etc.

They are good up to 360 horse power after that you need a paddle

Power is 300hp so should last awhile, would this pressure plate ok to use with a 6 paddle later on
