Hi with pinto ticking over if i put pipe into the throats of each barrel all i hear is an even pop pop pop sound is this normal or should it be a hiss sound as this method is how some people tune there carbs???

thats normal, your hearing induction pulses, as you play with the carb balance they get louder or quieter
