    Hello

Hello, thank you for the membership! I am from Denmark, I have a escort mk2 with a 108 bhp 2,1 pinto engine. I have owned the car in about one month, and now I want to se if I can get 180-190 bhp out of the engine. So I ther will be a lot of questions from me in the future, and Im looking forward to learn a lot.

no but it needs building right, dont use a short inlet manifold, an rl31 cam and 11:1 compression should get you over 175 maybe even in the 190's on 38 chokes, that all depends on how well the head actually works.

step up to an HT1 cam and yes you should make your target, but you wont have any power below 4k.

whats the engines intended use? road, race, rally?

It will probably be long, but there are various length manifolds available

    Did you buy this?

    https://www.burtonpower.com/weber-tw...webpfo201.html

It is a normal length manifold, not short. The short ones are meant for kitcar use only because of the space needed.
