    Cosworth oil feed ?

    Hi,
    Seen that on a italian video of transforming a escort mk1 with YB turbo.
    oil line going/from head, is that really helpfull ?

    Cant see any need to do that myself, i know of loads of YB engines that get trashed around race tracks, non of them have such oil lines

    It is a WRC mod to get more oil into the top end OR to divert the oil flow upto the top end.

    As Graham said, not needed with most applications

    Does the head have some sort of oil supply problem in the first place ?

    What is the gallery they are feeding ? cam bearings or something ?
