    megajolt on pinto

I'm thinking of putting a megajolt system on my pinto, running twin 48 dellortos and race cam blah blah blah..... Anyone using this system? Seems cheap, is it any good? Should I use a maf sensor of tps? Any one in the midlands area good at mapping this with dellortos?

    Cheers chaps

in terms of results, it doesnt really matter which system you use as long as its mapped correctly, use tps

maf, meassures airflow into an engine, that needs an airflow meter and seal air box, you may of meant map which is manifold pressure, which is difficult to do on an engine with sidedrafts

Haha, that's a very polite way of saying Im a Muppet! I did indeed mean map! I do have an unused port in my intake manifold tho. But think I will follow your advice and fab a tps mounting.

to make map work correctly you would have to connect it to all of the manifold branches and preferably some sort of vacuum chamber to damp out the pulses

    Re: megajolt on pinto

As above I use Map on my megajolt with a vac line on each port that go to a chamber/manifold to stabilise the vacuum then off to the megajolt if you dont do this the vacuum will be pulsing with side drafts and big cam.

Get a megasquirt instead of Megajolt, that way if you decide to to go injection at a later date you will have all the gear, the price difference between squirt and Jolt is not a lot.
