    Engine building "book" time

Just thinking as i'm driving round (do a lot of miles to work!) whats the book time to assemble an engine. Once its all laid out on a bench, machining all done just assemble it. Not necessarily the book time, but peoples experiences? 8 hours? 10 hours?
