    piston and head damage

    First run out didn`t go so well...ended up being towed home by the AA due to overheating problems.
    AA man tested for the head gasket which showed it had gone. so I`ve openned it up.

    If the sides are still good, you should be fine with them pistons.

    the inlet valves had a good 1mm of scale on them.

    looks to be running leaner on the effected cylinder too
