hello people im just after abit of advise, im building an escort estate drift car with a 2.0 blacktop and was after some info on how to maximise the steering angle like I've seen on a lot of the escorts. Any help would be gratefully received cheers dave

you need to shorten the steering arms that will give you more lock, theres a whole thread on here somewhere from when boxxer was looking into it.
i think in the end someone on here made him some new shorter arms.
Have a look for ed cobb on facebook does short arms and rack spacers.
Trig on here has done similar to his mk2 4 door try asking him ?

its not the fastest moving project as my time has been split between two projects the escort and a 2wd sapphire cosworth.
Never the less when my brother gets his tig welder fixed I should have a sump back for the escort and then I can finally fit the engine for the last time and wire it up..

So I had the sump back again and refitted it all only to find it was just catching on the subframe so I got my brother around and whilst it was on the ramp and he mark it up so it can be modified for the last time( fingers crossed) then we will be cooking on gas.......
Also I have purchased some rimmmmmms 13x8 compomotive Cx's they came with slicks so I had to fire them on straight away and yep they didn't fit.......
After some serious persuading I got a 175/50/13 tyre on and im well happy just the look I was after. see what you think and let me know

not sure what to do about the exhaust yet..
ive got a 4-2-1 manifold but don't want it to loud really, I am a lover of outwardly rolled tailpipes but I think im a little way off that yet lol
