    Breather types???

    Hi all
Im building a mk2 with turbo YB, the engine is still fitted with the standard breather and pipe work ?
The last time I did one I was lucky enough to get a donor engine with a take off on both sides of the block and another in the camcover all 3 piped to a pot and on to a catch tank which worked great with no issues at all.
The question is this one is going to be used on track and has a big wing sump and gated baffle so what breather is the best to use? I don't really want all the pipe work and tanks like the last one but if thats what I'm going to need so be it ?
The more simple the best really so there's less to leak and break
So what are you fells running thats a proven system thanks I advance paul

If its track use ie. racing then I believe the MSA require puke / catch tanks regardless. Usually with a turbo motor more / bigger breathers the better as ring blow by is inevitable! Even if its only track days, its still a good thing to have!

Breathe from both side of the block with a new return below oil level, output to atmosphere if you want to do it properly; but you can get away with a lot less depending on what power your running.
