    HONDA NSR125R

Does any one know what these bikes are like, as i maybe getting one on the weekend for £70.Also does any one know where to get a cheap fairing for it (F reg) Because it has got no front fairing on it due to a crash. If not i may turn it into a street fighter

They are a 2 stroke so all the usual! Budget for a new barrel and piston, rings, decoke, gearbox oil, plug, gaskets. Dunno too much about em but my mate commuted one for years and it was fine. Buy MCN there are plenty of fibreglass fairing makers, if not buy an acrebis little nose cone fairing for £50 (hein Gericke may do em). For £70 you can`t go wrong unless the forks are mashed as well. Check the frame headstock for cracks. The shocks and linkages seize as well.

Complete replacement pattern fairing fronm Skidmarx is about £185

Better off checking the bike breakers in MCN, there is also a few good ones on the web

Thanks for the help. I have had a look at the bike today and the forks are fine as he has just spent £300 on new forks, Yoke and somthing else but i cant remember. The engine sounds as sweet as. But he has to sell it due to:
    1. Hes mum does not want him to have it any more (she is a bit over protective)
    2. He is moving house so it needs to go.
Cant wait till i get it now
