My tracky is back from painting, inside is covered in dust though, got to do the door shuts, black-ins, and put it back together, should be out next week with a bit of luck.

This:
Has been in already, all work was done (except painting) when I found a porous block just before the old skool trackday, so now have a new block and also some bits turned up from Cosworth Racing today, so should put it back together this weekend.

It looks better in the flesh, by about 100 times, even though the paint hasn't been flatted and polished the finish is mirror shiney. The front bumper and dummy vents in the wings will be black eventually, and it will get a rear bumper too. It needs some decals on it now, I'll have to sort through my "Hoard"![]()

Mmmmmmm looks lovelywill look better with the aforementioned black bitz done, does needs some series x decals though
looking foward to a pass ride at brunters

Looks very nice indeed, You leaving the four linking/turrets?
Would be intrested to know how it handles the Cossie power, I am in two minds wether to get it done or not? Not going to be rallied, just road and track![]()

It's suppsoed to be a "Budget" track car, but I think the Anti-tramp bars and panhard rod will probably go in favour of a 6 linked back end sometime in the near future.Looks very nice indeed, You leaving the four linking/turrets?

Nice looker, a lick of paint seems to make the arches look wider. That's a full length atlas, I think I will look for the narrow version to have a better chance of fitting rwd wheels missed out on a few now on ebay

Dazzle, you ask in your signature what you will get when you add the Sierra to the Escort -I reckon the finished article will be a Signal Amber 5 door Sierra with a 4 speed box, 1.6 Pinto and steel 13" wheels.![]()

hardest job must have been bolting that bloody bastard battery tray in!!!!![]()
Can we have some more picture yet ?
yeah maybe tomorrow if I get time
Does look good mark
Btw, Who made those little chappies? Were they made to spec n were they dear n how are the studs attached ?
Cheers Wyn,
They were made to my spec for me by an engineer I use, I can get others done if you want to know more give me a ring
They cost around £150, give or take depending on size (billet is a bit dear)
The studs are pressed into the back like a normal hub flange, they have 60 degree seats in the other holes so they are just like bolting an alloy wheel up to your existing studs, they then sit below the new mounting surface, does that make sense?
Can also make adapters so different stud pattern wheels can be used, eg 4x100 BMW etc.
Mark
Out of interest what width wheels are you going to be using n what offset are they ?
my fronts are 7x16, rears are 8x16, they are Sierra Cosworth GPa RFX's, dunno what the offset figure is for Sierra
