Tubs dont seem to fit correctly

i'm having some trouble trial fitting my gartract tubs.

this is the gap without the original tubs, dont mind the missing metal on the outer body section, someone (not me) cut way too much off


i'm pretty sure i have the correct side, since there is a difference in the bend that matches the shell contour


here is the arch presented to the body, it looks to me the section in the red square it interfering to get a nice fit, it pushes down too much


there is also quite a gap in this red section


view from the inside where i think i need to cut a piece away to get a decent fit


any advise on how to tackle this please ?

Contacted gartrac and managed to get one tub trial fitted pretty decent. Had to remove some more materiaal.
