I spent a lot of money geting it mapped properly,it melted

1 st time on the strip!

I spent a lot of money getting the head ported, it wasn't!

So most of the money I spent the 1st time round was

I'd be suprised if it was a fault of the mapping that caused it to melt though if you took it to Harvey ? LOADS of other things could of caused it and him and Ahmed are more than capable of mapping any yb.

What was the score with the head ? where did that come from ?

I am getting it re- mapped when its up and running again so we

will find out then about the original "dyno session"

The head was done to "grp a big port" spec by a certain

tuner who used to sell "total seal rings" in dagenham .

I paid a lot of money to get it done and ike has texted me

tonight to tell me its down 25% on one of his heads on his

own flow bench !

Well its been a while but finally the head is almost done,the 200 block is now at the machine shop to have new standard bore liners fitted,I have a very modified 2wd inlet manifold and proper 70 mm throttle body,and the DTA s 60 pro ecu is in stock ready to be fitted !

Its one I bought for the V6tt and it has never been used so the whole lot, inc plugs is new. Would need to get enough for it so I could buy a simpler ecu with a bit of change otherwise i might as well use it.
Be a shame to waste all of its features running an N/A 4 pot though.

Well the inlet manifold is done !





And the block has had the new liners fitted, just waiting for

some o/s bearings and my wrc head gasket to turn up now,

and then the build will commence
