I was gonna get ike to build the motor for me, but the block
repairs cost a lot more than 1st expected, so I am screwing it
back together myself again .
Still gonna need ike to map it though so I've started saving
my pennies for that already .

i think i m going to use a omex600 as i can get one for a fair price, like i say i ve been hearing some very good things about Ike lately and i know Ron rates him highly as both a engine builder and tuner. I have been looking at those 70mm throttle bodies, I was not sure as they do not have prevision for Idle speed valve and also are missing the adjustment screw underneath?
How will that affect the engine running and are they needed?
Cheers lads , manifold is a flowed and much modified stock
2wd inlet, with a jap aftermarket proper 70mm t/b.
Can't wait to bolt the motor back together though and get it
back in the hole !

Any progress yet mate?
Not done much in the last couple of weeks, but I did do the
cam timing the other day, used some pretty funky numbers
that tony at turbosystems had told carlo on p/f who is using
a very similar set up to mine, bd16's,low comp,t04 etc.
Told ike and he don't like em , so now I've gotta reset them to
his figs
So once I redo them , should be throwing the long engine
back in !

Well funnily enough, here are some pics I took
today.Cleaned the engine bay ready to fit the motor back
in this friday.
Also dropped another saff 2wd prop off at propshaft
services to be modified as my original one is now too short.
Got my bell housing back today as well after some thread
repairs and dropped off my downpipe to have a couple of
lambda bosses welded on,phewwwwwwww!
Oh and do you like my new bolts I had made for my vernier
pulleys to match the big central ones I bought off of
