i know this is gonna be a really stupid question buit if i machine 2.5mm off of the mounting face, wouldnt that make it closer??

No it makes it move further outboard as it bolts up from the back of the hub

BTW
Mine are fitted and running on my tracky using the princess 4 pots and they are a massive improvement over the 247mm capri veted setup

got mine on today (THANKS mark!!!!). Had to stomp on the brakes hard on the way home and they felt better, even though they are not bedded in yet.

So now the front is organised..what would be the better setup for the back:

Peugeot 205 rotors and citreon bx calipers

Whats wrong with Wilwood's ? They are 110 pounds each and will bolt straght on ?

For the rear: I hear a lot of people mounting XR3i discs and Siera 4x4 rear calippers.

Allmost forgot,

They place the disc (rotor) further outside to feed the heath to the wheel instead of the bearing.

Does it make sense to do so ? You need to machine the hub and weaken it on it's most important place.
