    Monza with a T34

Wanted to check that I was making the right sort of curves before I finished off my mapping so Steve at Track'N'Road spun the old girl up on the rollers for me, dont think I need to change much except the boost control max HP was produced with 22 PSI which I think is very good

    Re: Rolling Road Report

Have you weighed the finished car and how does the power to weight ratio compare to other "performance" cars.

I would guess very well from your stories but wondered just how good it was.

JJY weighs 860kg (I took it to our local council tip when I'd finished it and asked a rather bemused weighbridge man to tell me what it weighed) but I guess a Cossie Escort is going to be a fair bit more than this.

    Re: Rolling Road Report

Luds gearcalk said 181 at 7630 and the rollers showed 178 so very accurate.

    Kev16v anytime!

Kev Standard Cams, Standard Escort Cosworth Turbo and X039 injectors.

Cant wait to get rid of the bleed valve and sort the boost control out so it holds the boost rather than dropping off.

Yes they are low impedence ideal for all the cossie webber ECU's I am running a L8, the injectors were from Cosworth's Stock not Tyrells as they used to build thier engines.

They have a similer flow to a grey.

    3.44:1

Its about 1psi difference I needed to know the relationship the boost was having on HP so I can work out when we up the boost if it drops out of its efficiency band.

    Re: Rolling Road Report

I have been trying to flatten my boost curve today, my brain hurts, I know I shouldnt try and invent the wheel but I may of found a very good way of stopping the spike and keeping it flat, I have done exactly that but run out of time before I could up the boost to an exceptable level so its running a very flat curve with no initial spike at 1.2 Bar at the moment

Cant wait to get it retested with a flat curve now!
