Anyone know what sort of power/ torque an atlas axle off of 2.8 Capri would take standard ?

many a standard atlas has been hooked up to a yb chucking out 400 odd lbft, or strapped to a big V8, what are you looking to do with it?

Not mine my mates bearing have knackered it's yb pushing 285 hp at wheels been told standard axle wount take that power ?

someones talking rubbish, bearings wear out eventually whatever the power, so if its got a knackered bearing its either because the axle is old and has done a lot of miles, has been low on oil, never had an oil change or if its been rebuilt hasnt been done correctly
