    for 3 weeks this time

Anyway,I collected all the parts scattered everywhere to put her back

Cant wait to see the car in the flesh.Read about it many times in various magazines from when it had a pinto in it at a rolling road shoot out to the other features in SM,Fast Car,Retro etc.
One of may favourite old skool fords ever.Been a long time coming but definately worth the wait.

    Hey,

At this rate - man Im losing the race. Not the race between the 'Tinas, that was a given, cause Im still doing panel work. But it looks as though your 'Tina will hit the tarmac before my Morris 1100 does. Still waiting on parts for that one.

Yeah, its not a Ford, but its cool - such a chick magnet - and a perfect daily driver. And it has a 1380cc race motor so its respectable.

    Cheers,

Lol The Morrie is at the "put back together stage", so the sound of not-so-fast, but angry A+ series isnt too far away. And it is so very good for seeing off 3 series BMW drivers.

    The Cortina...

The Tina is going through the long and arduous task of panel beating. Some of us thought it was a good idea to drag a project car out of a paddock - where it had sunk about 2 feet. This Tina has an amazing ability to hide vast amounts of rust...

But the front bumpers are done and looking mighty fine. The grille surround is smoothed out and finished, and the headlights are recessed. Ive also made the jig so I can start work on the grille now. Its starting to take a real mini muscle car look to the front end. Think Elanor from the Gone in 60 Seconds remake and youll be on the right track. Weve made 3 or 4 rear bumpers for it, still not 100%, so we're in the process of trying again.

So its coming along. Havent been totally bludging :tumblewee

As for the motor, well, the Toyota 2TGEU+Supra 5 speed has been yoinked out and sold. Didnt feel right having a Japanese engine in there anymore, despite the fact that it is a barn-stormer, tyre hating thing. Especially with big cam/hemi head combo it had on it. Not sure what engine will be replacing it - Pinto is obvious, YB a dream (they aint cheap on this side of the pond), but it will be Ford. Or Ford related...

    Cheers,
    Prud
