As soon as I've finished welding my car back together I'm going to make a start on the engine. I've got hold of a stage 3 head with 41mm inlet and 34mm exhaust valves.
My plan is to rebore the block to 83.5 and use Accralite forged pistons with the kent 244 cam thats already in. I will also be using 45 dcoe's. Now if I've read the burton catalogue right the 244 cam has 11.3mm max lift, am I going have to machine deeper valve cut outs in the pistons to make sure they don't come into contact? Also has any one got any idea what sort of power I can expect?
