Shame they never followed on with the RS1700T idea though. What do you think? I reckon a RWD Mk3 would be class!!

Slim - Have said before ( on RSOCBB ) that your car looks even better in the flesh!!
I wondered if you were still using her as I havent seen it about all that much untill the other week when you came past us ( opposite direction ) as a white streak lol

My Mrs dont work in the garage anymore so it will be out more at weekends now rather than sat on the garage forecourt

There are getting to be loads of S1`s around here now, there are suposedly 4 or 5 in Walden, a couple in Haverhill (one of which is my old one that was written off!!! (B303DEG)) My m8 up the road is restoring one as well.

Yes Gartrac made some RWD and even better the 4WD mk3's. They looked mint. There used to be two lads turn up at Croft many moons ago in matching white Grtrac 4WD's and my jaw used to hit the floor. They were brand new back then as well!!

Slim - My S1 is still not running right. Ive been told its my injectors now but still not sure. It doesnt seem to boost all that hard or go all that fast!!!
I see you a few weeks ago when I didnt have my car ( still in Garage) You were coming over the hill from Shelford into Cambridge, Granhams road ????? not sure if this is right, its a shame your Mrs aint gonna be working at the garage anymore, but I hope this means we will get to see you at some shows in the near future?.

Ther is deffo 5 S1's in Saffron Walden, a couple of them are real sh****rs though. How is Tony getting on with his S1 has he got it all back and sprayed? and more importantly when will it be ready?

I will have to keep an eye out for your old S1 the one that was written off. The last time I spoke to your mrs she was saying that you might be planning on stripping the S1 and repainting/restore her back to her former glory, as by looking at the car it doesnt look as if it would need all that much work.

Tony is getting there with his,He got it back from the sprayers and they did a top job as always. He has been putting some shiny bits on it recently but i dont think he is planning to have it on the road this year.

I`ll have to talk to the Mrs about that and get it in writeing
