Its the top floor of the Cambridge Street car park.
Its overlooked by lots of flats and a hotel who's residents were often to be seen staring with shock at an Escort estate doing backward doughnuts in broad daylight!
(The clouds of smoke could drift as far as Sauchiehall street I was told by a mate one time!)

Had a quick look at the site with your RST van on it, looks bloody mental! Hows that going?

I'm running around in a Capri at the moment which is a good bit of fun. Still got the LHD Escort, and it gets worked on when I get the chance, (its a nightmare!).

bought a s2 rst ran it for a while then put the engine in a ford prefect with sierra box so its rwd, looks like a right wee grannys car...lol, getting its photo took by classic ford on monday

still got the van but no engine in it at the mo,finnished that white 3 door sierra i had, when i went to buy the rst the guy ended up giving me cash plus the rst for the sierra,,,,whats happening with your escort?

I've been working on the Escort on and off for almost 2 years now!
I've replaced tons, and refitted tons, new rad', metering unit, pipes, hoses, fuel lines, sensors, chipped ECU, Racetek Actuator, elecric windows and other stuff......
The main prob was the ECU wiring though, cos it wasn't connected to the coil & dizzy!
I've since replaced the whole engine loom with another from an S1, and wired it all through the fusebox with the relays inside under the dash, (thats been by far the biggest job).
Had it all running great till I took it out and it ran upto about 12psi then a big backfire and it doesn't want to run for more than a couple of seconds.
Think its the head gasket. The head was coming off for a S2 one to be fitted anyway, so thats going to get done when I get round to it.......
