I think they are so fast and handle so well that when they do reach the (inevitable) limit, they are never coming back. Not to mention going very quickly in the first place.

I see the insurance premiums going up each second.

Sad pics but unfortunately, that's what will happen when you have a car with limits way above the limits of probably 80% of drivers.

A friend of a friend had a Sunny GTi-R. It inspired so much confidence, from sheer grip that, inevitably, he gradually started pushing it harder and harder. Took a bend at 130 that scares me at 70 (A5199 or old A50, between the turnoff for Mowsley & Husbands Bosworth...for those who know). Lost it one way, kicked back the other way. Sideways, straight into a six and a half foot wide Oak. Tore the car completely in half and the cops found his body over sixty feet from the point of impact. Passenger survived though. Took a lot of bark off the tree but did nothing else. You don't want to hit a tree.

I was getting a bit mad in the Puma after 6 months, just turning in to corners at any speed, until I got caught out one day and had to brake mid corner, I fucking shit my pants the arse end was all over the shop.

A lesson was learned that day, thankfully without anyone getting hurt.

Ian and Mark, I think you may of just tought me a lesson.

I commute to work to Coventry down backroads and fly along in the KA as it is so damn grippy. When it does over/understeer it is increadibly predictable. What isn't predicatable it the road surface, and a bit of diesel could well see me into a tree/field/ditch at a silly speed.

Think I will be being a bit more careful when I go in shortly.
