    My old GTi

Just found these pictures on my work pc of my old Esort GTi, before I had to sell it to make way for a 4 door family car

    mods were:
17" lenso S7 alloys with 205/40/17 Avon tyres
    Eibach uprated lowered springs
    Mongoose 3"stainless steel exhaust system
ramair air filter and modified airbox
    clear side indicators
    Laguna front spoiler
    colour coded door handles/locks
    Chrome grill/rear number plate surround
panasonic stereo with 6 cd autochanger with heater control knobs and plastic stero adaptor plate sprayed silver to match stero.
genuine Ford silver handbrake cover and gearknob

Not the fastest car on earth, but a good reliable car never the less, and turned a few heads, probably more due to the noise than looks but which sadly had to go to please the other half!

    Cheers
    Steve

        Cheers Ian
As soon as I saw them, I thought these are the wheels for me, especially as you don't see to many of them around, makes a nice change form the usuall league,OZ,team dynamics type wheels that everyone and his dog has got

        BabyDave,
I wish I had got it from a mate down the pub, I brought it new from my local Renault dealer, cost me about £50 if my memory serves me correct......
for info the Renault part No is... R77 00818802
and comes complete with a bag of pop rivets

        Cheers
        Steve

Cool, did you have to cut it down much?

Not really, I did have to put a few nicks in the flange that fixes it to the bumper(the bit you dont see) to enable me to get a tighter bend at the corners and chop a couple of inches of the ends with a stanley knife once it was riveted on, and that was about it about it.
Once I found the centre line of the bumper and splitter and started riviting it on from the middle of the car out to the ends it was pretty easy.

            Cheers
