snap Bricktop,I had one like yours but no black bonnet.

the maze coloured one @ about 1987ish
the yellow one(mexico replica) @ about 1990(kept it till about1994)
white one about 1991

the replica mex had a new rear panel after an accident in 1992,and I had new outer sill's fitted at the same time so the door lined up better (notice the bottom edge of the door in the pic).
Soon after selling the mex rep,I saw the next owner at a show.He did his best to blank me ,so thought he wasn't happy with the car (couldn''t think why).
It turned out he didn't want to tell me the bad news ,within a month of him having it, the car was a write off as a thundering great Granada ploughed in to the back of it .He knew I loved the car and I sold it only to get something bigger due to the birth of my daughter.

i remember the yellow mex (i wasnt a real one tho i seem to remember). years ago takes me back in time, that car influenced me to buy a yellow mex and put black stripes on it!! shame i bought a rotten apple and never finished it
i remember when the yellow one was for sale in 92ish at a show in ongar

The show @ Ongar musta been about 93/94 cos thats when I sold it.A guy @ the show put a deposit on it and bought it about a week later.
Twas a bloody good shell,top plates,sills and a small patch on the passenger foot well was the only welding on it
