she's had a chain and headgasket at 196000
as for the evo i think it was designed for those women that couldn't handle the long first gear it's a bitch in traffic
but away from the lights the evo has to grab another gear meanwhile im allready away,
also the evo suffers with vanos problems/variable valve timing unit/double vanos on the evo single on the 3.0
it also does not have traction control or esp which is a bonus i think and one less thing to go wrong
ive had it 4 years now and bought it off the original owner
so i no all its history,
since ive had it
timing chain for peace of mind
rebuilt the suspension
new steering rack
water pump/poly vee belt's and one tensioner
new clutch
a tie rod
and a few sets of tyre's
not bad really as i do a lot of miles mainly pleasure
i would like a tvr griffith next but cant bring myself to sell her
plus a griff wont be practical
i would also love a mk1 rs2000 in olympic blue
or a bad ass mk2 with a tasty engine
amongst other's i could go on all day
