That's 650BHP on petrol, 750-800 BHP if using methanol!

Is the engine as small as it looks, or is it that the turbo etc are bigger than we're used to seeing - thus making the engine appear small?
          TBC.

That engine isn't that small, the turbo is huge though, doesn't make any boost til 5000RPM, then it hits warp 9

                Re: BDTE (RS200) Engine!

When I was at college, we had a BDT engine in the training workshop for the NVQ students to pull apart, so I moved it to the restoration workshop and stripped and re-built it, Ford Motor Company had donated it to the college, but not before they ran a grinder over the crank journals, drilled through the block halfway up every bore and took the impellers out of the turbo, when I got it in pieces I was gutted to see the state of it, and Jesus they are a pain in the arse to set the valve clearances on . So don't ask me to do your BDA tappets Dave

Although not in Dave's pic, the size of the fecking intercooler never ceases to amaze me on the RS200!

                    Re: BDTE (RS200) Engine!

I have just had to replace all the valves on my BDA cos they were all different lengths for some strage reason. So setting tappets up should be only difficult now!!
