done this on my TD mondeo this weekend and last.

i have experimented putting grey leather ST200 door cards on the front doors, but they seem to be too different from the dark blue colour of the rest of the stuff, so i will be putting the proper velour door cards in there soon.

Nice Mondeo mate I want a Mondeo but I want to buy a 1.6LX Mk2 and do it up like the ST24 so it won't cost so much on the insurance.

mines a mk2 1.8TD LX done up like a ST24, with the bodykit, 17" wheels, lowered suspension, mesh grill, quad headlights, uprated brakes, new interior, loads of leccy goodies from ghia model etc etc and i was getting seriously high insurance quotes (much more than if i had a standard ST24) but i found a specialist who insured it for £320. the bodykit isnt cheap unless you get a badly fitting fibreglass kit with no towing eyes for £500 all in.

if i were you dont get the 1.6, they are seriously slow. get the 1.8 or 2.0 petrol (zetec 16V engines) which are pretty quick and very moddable.

my other one is a mk1 2.0 Ghia Zetec with a fair few mods, in fact when fastford mag did the article on it they said it was the most modded mondeo they had ever known about! insurance is £850 on that one.

Oh Phil you are too modest the other Mondeo as he calls it is the original nossed up monster, and one of the finest MK1's you will ever see a credit to it's former and present owner

Where did u get the ST24 kit ? Are ESP ones any good?

my back bumper is genuine ford i got 2nd hand, the skirts and boot spoiler i got from ESP (skirts are badly fitting), front bumper is plastic replica from www.mondeopart.co.uk.

i have heard good and bad things about ESP, your better off with the plastic bumpers and not fibreglass because they will fit properly and have the towing eye holes. my skirts are fibreglass and they dont have the removable jacking point things but i can get the jack in behind.
