I've got a mate breaking a featured S1...in PF under Zetec Warrior with a red/blue engine paint sceme. This car made 313bhp on a bench...2.1 all steel zvh, t034 hybrid, twin chargecoolers, ally everything etc.

The engine has literally pulled the shell apart...there's cracks appearing so rather than spend time & money stripping it down and repairing, he's going to move up to a 3-dr cossie.

                Re: Scott_R\'s Series 1

Would be a good engine to put into a Group A mk3 shell, with all the extra welds and reinforcements would struggle to pull it apart. All we need now is a non-custom shell.

Cheers Will, nice to see you over here aswell, I should, if all goes well get the car back by Wednesday, can't wait will be sooo nice to have her back. Did'nt think I would miss it as much as I have.

Slim - I have spoken to the guy with the mk2 and he does'nt want to sell it anymore, but I have heard of someone else that has got an X-Pack RS2000 for sale, apparantly it is not a welded patchwork quilt and is all complete and original. Again I do not know how much but if anyone is interested I could try and find out.
