it was also in retro cars magazine, the june 04 edition and it was in a gm v ford rolling road shootout p104 to be precise, and heres the bad news, ( unless its had work since the rolling road feature ) it only did 115.5 bhp with 111.9 lb.ft and operators comments were that the clutch was slipping so it should be a bit better

engine looks tidy tho

also do 16i's have four branchers as standard, they all did in the feature

No, the manifolds are cast, only slightly different from the XR3i ones.

Do you keep the magazines Andy or could I buy it off you?

Since then it has had a new clutch and I have a RR print showing slightly more. However, for the amount of work done on the car, the bhp increase is minimal!

ive just fitted one to my escort and its wearing the paint off already!

As far as I can remember, there is a clear protective film on the rear wings under the spoiler to stop it wearing the paint.

yep I did have the part # somewhere just as easy to use a bit of cut up vinyl though
