    My new mondeo ST TDCi

Got it just over a week ago. It's really very nice and I'm very pleased with it. Have done 600miles so far and averaged 45mpg. Have been super gentle on it so give it a chance to run in. It doesn't strike me as being as qiuck as I'd though but I'm sure it will be soon courtesy of Superchips.

    Kewel

What's it like on squirt,is it economical ? I realise it needs time to bed down, but give us a clue.

    Best colour too.

            Thanks peeps.

Guy my commute to work is all down backroads then Coventry traffic. Without going too potty it's around the 39-41mpg mark Last week I drove 60miles up the A5 and around Hatfield/St Albans and managed 47mpg.

The roadholding is fabulous but I suspect I'll demolish the tyres if I keep demostrating it to myself! That said Eagle F1's work out at just over £110 a corner so that's not too bad.

I just love that everything on it is automatic! The ESP cut in the other day as I went round a bend and found the road absolutely covered in wet leaves. It handled that little drama beautifully and you could feel it braking each wheel individually to control the loss of traction. Very impressed!
            It also has:
            - Auto dimming rear view mirror (the main reason I got the car!!)
            - Xenon headlights (automatically turn on)
            - Parking sensors
            - Automatic rain sensing wash wipers
            - Cruise control
            - Climate control
            - Heated half leather seats
            - More air bags than you'd find at a party full of politicians.
etc..etc.. All I have to do when driving is turn this strange round thing in front of me!!

The best part though is how silent it is at speed. Even at 110 it's seriously quiet, even more so than the XJR's I drive. I am very pleased, although I still lust after an RX-8!

More pics (I was rushing last time as my laptops battery was dying!). I've put the key against the Turbo so you can get an idea how big it is. I'll rummage out the same photo I did with my Fiesta TDCi.

diesels turboes are always smaller than petrols though.

great motor hugh, i had a look at one in the ford dealers and was well impressed.

is that a fiesta ST TDCi you say you had before?
