Black plates cause it's on the isle of man and you can legally do black&silver for any car registered before jan 1990 - just because mine is aug 1990 plently of people blag it! Looks so much better as well - also matches with the black&silver metal plates on merlin (which are legal of course being 1969!) Still finding my feet with the car as the 2.9i v6 is slightly different to my cavalier and a touch different to the Escorts pinto! but good fun so far - although major problem is that the kid I bought it off had lowered it!! God only knows why as it scraps the exhaust and bottoms out on everything except santa-pod style flatness - which is near enough impossible to find on the Island! So a set of standard springs are on order already!!!

where is the xroc bb? I'll take a pic of the ground clearance! it is low! the exhaust is standard (except the silly tailpipe) and it scrapes all along it from the manifold, the kid I bought it from mentioned it had been lowered and it "tends" to bottom out... It's not too bad with me in the car (11stone) but when you add me mate (18stone!) it's bad and add anyone else in the back it's almost undriveable! We'll see what difference the standard springs make.... at least when it's up on the ramps we can look at the exhaust as well!
No name decided yet - had suggestions of lancelot, galahad arthur etc but nothing seems to fit as yet - might try to find a website with the 12 knights names on??? Also my brother in-law suggested shed, shitter and daganham dustbin - but I ignored them!!!

Noticed that!!! Put £43 a couple of days ago - done 150miles and it's down to a 1/4 already! I guess about 200 - 220 miles to a tank??? on 60litres what would that make the mpg I wonder??? Just done a quick calculation... 60 litres = approx 13.2 gallons, 220 miles divided by gallons works out at 16.6 so rounding it all off about 17MPG!!!! Economical or what! Still it's a damn fun ride!
