and see if i can improve on its performance with a cam, stage 3 head and superchip.

oh and when your getting your shiny bits, get some clear indicators and while you are at it have a look for clear rear clusters, they are out there if you look hard enough, ive seen them in the flesh, well plastic

                    they look the dogs

Ive got Clear fronts and clear focus repeaters on, but the car hasnt been shiny enough to take any pics recently.
and as for the clear rears ill leave those to the corsa drivers
(not my cup of tea, well not on a cab anyway)

theres a scottish guy with a blue rs cab and he has clear rears and i must admit they do look really smart, and i was hoping that you would say you already have them cos you could tell me where you got them cos i want them on my estate, same cluster you see

                          Re: Summer rag wagon

im sure i saw a thread a while ago on the rsoc bb about the clear rears and how a trader was selling them at silly prices at one of the shows, but know one else could verify or find out who it was that was making them.
i think one trader said it would take at least 30-50 definate orders b4 they could be made and they would cost about 200 quid.
so it is possible but doubtfull they exist. (unless someone knows any different)???.

                          cheers ian

oh they definitely do exist, cos i saw them on a cab up at crail, i was speaking to the guy and he said he sent them to france to get custom made and that it cost him 300 just for the lenses, the guy bonded them to his original cluster bases, but im doubtful that someone would go to those lengths to get a set of clear clusters, would you ?

Unfortunatly the new house has sucked up any hope i had of getting a decent car so im using what little money i have on this one so here's some final pic's b4 i take it off the road,
im fitting lower springs, bigger brakes and rear discs shortly, then Ian at specialised engines is sorting me out with a stage 3 head, piper cam, vernier and uprated injectors.
Oh and ill be fitting the flamer kit off the cossie as well.
aparantly i wont have to get it chipped either as you can get around it somehow (?).

anyway heres the pics (just trying out the new digi cam)

                              cheers ian
