Very nice, what is the rest of the spec, suspension etc.
The spec is all ways changing as I keep changing things to better it....
Old ford autos rack conversion
fully adjustable leda struts
cossy discs all round and granada calipers (capri sport conversion)
land rover master cylinder
all brake pipes done in stainless hose
narrowed atlas
capri 2.8 single leaf rear springs
gaz adjustable rear shocks
mk 1 cossy wheels
scimmiter over drive g/box
3.1 essex stage 3 tuned
twin stainless big bore exhaust
recaro carbon buckets (ex pro drive rally seats)
changes to be made in near future....
fitting holley inlet manifold and 500 cfm 4 barrel carb
change pedal ratio to try and improve brakes!
changing wheels to compomotive ML 7x15 front 8x15 rear
yeah cheers, but the wheels do cause problems due to having to fit wide spacers to clear the front struts, I get a lot of vibration through the steering over 70 mph. So I will be changing them soon to compomotive ML`s with the correct offset to try and cure the problem
Before buying new wheels, may I suggest trying another set first, with the right offset, just to make sure its the wheels causing the vibration, and perhaps take a picture with the camera 12" from the ground looking down the side of one front wheel, so the pic shows the front of the tyre and the floor and wing.
Don't tell the Escort lads but I do like a Mk1 Tina

The problem is getting a pair of 15 inch rwd offset wheels!
all the wheels I have are fwd offset
I dont know of any I can try so I will have to buy new
which is not so bad as I want to fit wider 8x15 on the rear.
Whats the deal with taking pictures of the wheel? I am a bit confused?
Your wobble may be down to geometry.. just want a little looksie
A spacer is just a removable offset device, if your rims stays in the same position as the originals but you have the right offset, then nothing has changed really....
Have you spun the wheel while it jacked up and seen if its running true, not the tyre but the wheel rim, any in and out movement?
Hi
I had the same wheels on the front of my Mk2 Cortina, Loved the looks but the steering never felt "Right" with the Cossy rims fitted, I allways put it down to the 25mm spacer needed to get the clearance. Ive now fitted 6"x15" compo MLs and the steering feels a more precise, I allways assumed the extra offset on the hub was causing the stub to move under cornering as the struts are not wedged. I also dropped tyre size from 205-50-15s to 195-50-15s, BTW I have a spare pair of new 6"x15" compo MLs for sale on this site, These wheels do clear Capri/Escort struts, now at a reduced price as I need the space.

And have you moved the top mounts?
I have had the geometry all setup so that should be ok?
I have jacked it up and checked the wheels by spining them and the drivers side does wobble!
so I swapped the wheels around and drivers side wobbles again with a different wheel?
so looking closer spining the hub with no wheel the disc on the drivers side is not true!
I will have to check the disc and hub to see which is out? the discs are new and the hubs have been machined to take the cosworth discs.
