Love the mk1 golf's, my uncle had a gti cabrio, was a wicked little car, but unfortunately it succumbed to the dreaded rust

                Re: My Mk1 Golf

Hi it is amazingly rust free apart from a few bits on the back arches. Gonna sell it though as I need to go racing!!

The 'thing' behind it is a lincoln continental Mk4, 7.5 litres of pure american fuel economy Nice to drive but horrendously expensive on fuel, like driving it to work will cost me £40 both ways. Usually costs me about £10 for 2 days traveling in the other shitbox!

Could you convert it to LPG? Would still use tankers and tankers of fuel but wouldn't cost as much.
