    My New 4x4 all Cleaned Up!!

    CheeRS to Raj for the car. Goes like a dream.
    I have cleaned her three times now! I also gave the engine bay a good looking at and have fed the seats with Oil and Wax. I have ordered a full leather treatment Kit and am getting a Ford lacorglaze done at the weekend.






    So far so good...
    If you cant fix it with a hammer, use a bigger one!!

      Anyone know where I can get the green paint for the Cam carrier cover from??

              Dave its a lovlely motor m8 I remember commenting on it when I chipped it, Raj has looked after it well for you

              The cam cover dosnt get that hot so most industrial machine paints work well, try a mix of Hammerite smooth green and dark green or leave the nice clean standard one as it is you fussy git lol

                  Clint, the paint has peeled off so I was thinking it would need heat resistant stuff? So you are saying mix them two colours and it will match??

                  Andy, Lacorglaze (spelling?) is a coating that Ford do on new cars at a cost. It puts a laquor coating over your paint work.

                                              Raj, the colour has been matched now to Ebony Black. I have mates at the Ford body shop that sorted it!

                                              Kel, to get Ford to do the treatment it costs around 200 quid ish. But once again I have mates so am saying nowt...

                                              I will post a few pics later for you to see what it looks like done.

                                                  Hi Dave i was saying that, it's called so many things, the colour but as far as i know they only made one black colour cossie and it's called Ebony Black at Ford although referred to as Smokestone, Black, Metalic black, Dark Grey etc etc.
