I've got a funny feeling I've posted this before, but never mind.


I got the capri for 200 quid and sold it for 400, so I was happy.




My first car at 17, boy did this get thrashed




This was a pile of poo, fitted with a 2.0 transit pinto with 40's, broke it and sold the bits.

Those wheels suit the Capri really well.

Got a feeling i have seen a pic of that rs1600i before, registration looks familiar.

That Capri looked like a bargain Mark ??
That RS 1600 i looks very smart as well, did you get enough power from those spot lights ??
Seems like a lot of peeps who have RS's have also had bike's as well, including me!!

The Capri and RSi were 10 years ago, and I really miss the RSi more than any other them.

The Capri had 2.8 half leather Recaro's as well, although they were not in perfect condition, and I lowered it after that picture was taken

I think they were called a Turbo spolier, same as the RS Capri ? and pretty rare now, probably worth more than the car.

It,s funny how times change, about 15 years ago i owned 5 different Stags all mk 2 manuals, there was nothing like them for V8 sound, and with the hard and soft tops you could use them all year round, back then i used to pay between 2 and 3 thousand for nice ones, try and buy a good one for that now, by comparison RS 1600 i,s cost more, but now i see them for a few hundred, i,m sure people think they are XR3,s, i,m almost tempted to buy one. but are they all rotten ?.

love the capri an RSi m8
The capri spoiler is a "Turbo Tail" made for the x-packed zackspeed and i had a genuine rubber one on mine and they are like rocking horse 5hit to get hold of, but the fibre glass copies where a plenty.
Looks as if yours was the genuine one though as they where designed for the x-pak rear wings and didnt quite hug the standard wings.

It wasn't too good up close and the sun roof leaked like a bugger, the shell was pretty solid though, but 10 years ago, good mk2 shells were not that hard to get.
