This is my mates cav sri, its a 2.0 16v Gsi engine, Chipped, k+n, piper exhaust, 17" masitaly's, Gsi bodykit, Evo 6 rear spoiler. Looks nice for a camelsear
your mate wouldnt know where i can get a 2litre 16v vauxhall engine would he? or the best place to contact for a good one? i think they came in ashtray GTE 16v's and camelsrear GSi's. i want one (gearbox aswell) to put in my mini project and yes, the maths have been done, and it WILL fit, with no silly long front end going on. just need a smaller inlet manifold and it'll sit back far enough...
Sorry bout the ashtray comment if anyone has one, they're just known as that round my way.
150bhp+ in a mini..... and i wouldnt mind giving it a chip and some cams/headwork. any guesstimates on power?? its gonna be proper scary. . Show its to a-hell-of-alot i reckon

This is a fast reving engine.
The engine was in an Mk1 Astra until the car fell apart around the engine since then the engine has been on an engine stand in a dry workshop complete with oil.
Cheers for those-will get browsing. i only wanted a bit more poke, so i looked at a tuned 1275, but i saw a german speedster mini with a basically standard 2.016v engine, and i've wanted one since. it was quick. i'll try to get piccies up&on show as it goes, and hopefully i'll be scaring myself shitless in no time at all...
