and if my escort isn't going ........... i could bring out my .................325i sport!!!
rear wheel drive/lsd rules accept for the fact that the bimmer has about 600 turns lock to lock compared to the old mk2 - cross your arms once quick rack. when it comes back from a slide, some times i think i'm better off letting the wheel go and catching it a couple of seconds later while trying not to brake my thumbs!! (this clap looks more like it)
I know they all look the same (like McDonalds) but the Sterling dealership is local to me and that garage looks exactually like the one in my town. The trees in the backround, the car wash, the crappy blue tiles on the pumps, the Metro , signs on the wall, everything! I am sure that there is a blue MK2 in the next town cause my brother (dumb arse) keeps mistaking it for my MK1.
Just a stab in the dark really. Much like my sex life!
I'm sure he will now turn round and say it was taken in Australia!
it was actually in felixstowe about a half hour after it came out of the container (it took half an hour to pump up the tyres, lucky porsches come standard with a compressor). we don't hav pugs in oz, only the occasional sick 205 revmonster that someone has imported to thrash in a classic rally or something - but when they break '9000 bang!!' off road time is considerable and parts are fkn spensive.
if you ever wondered how to fit 2 cars in a 20' container, this should clear it up .....................
Its actually Solar Garage, High Road West, the exact garage that I thought it was!! In the town where I live. How spooky!!
I also have the misfortune of working in Shipping so have seen 2 cars in a 20ft plenty of times. Plus 2 Chuffin great Safari Land Rovers that had just come back from Africa on the Feed the World campaign. They did have to have the air let out of the tyres to get them in.
Dave, I think that the car was imported from Australia? Shipped through the Port of Felixstowe and is now residing in the UK??
