Heres the wifey's Dash
effect is much better overall as the bulbs used are the same size as the led's and the prism in the clocks pass the light better.

Thats much better! Looks really good.

Is it the prism in the needles that stops the ford clocks looking as good as that??

well what it is
the micra bulbs are only 5mm same as the leds so in the holder the led's sit in the same location, but the ford ones are 10mm so you have to try and position the led so it illuminates the same as the bulb, but led's have smaller viewing angle than a bulb so its hit and miss. But with the ford dash requiring 4 10mm bulbs, 4 5mm led's are not going to be a bright
the other thing is to fit 2 together in the holder or fit extra ones.

but im sure i can get it better with a little more trail and error
