This might sound like a stupid question, but how the hell do you go about re-building these??

I don't care how good a mechanic anyone is, you must have to refer back to something to check where the odd piece goes!

Do you guys use like a workshop manual or a Haynes manual or something?

The reason I'm asking is that I maybe getting myself a S1 that needs some work, and I need to know where I can go for info.
