Hi mate, lovely car. I can't remember what one it is but one of the current Classic magazines has an article on Integrales. I was reading it in Tesco's the other day Will have a look next time I'm in there
I've been out in an Evo1. It had been modded which made it quite fast, circa 260 brake I think... but what amazed me was the cornering. The active centre diff does an amazing job and makes it go round corners with more grip than anything else I've been in. The fact that it didn't slip tho made it strange, I like my cars to feel a little loose when cornering that hard! Gorgeous cars but I wouldn't want to fix a bust one!
first of all there is no such thing as an evo 3 its usually only touted around by people who dont know the cars so be warned if you really want one and i highly recommend it (differant experiance to cossies) shop around and get it veiwed by a reputable specialist.
see http://forums.delphiforums.com/evoforum/start for all the info you could ever need plus lots you dont ;-) (under FAQ)
evo 1 big turbo version, no highback seats, very tunable.
evo 2 highback seats, colour coded gutter trims smaller turbo (much like small turbo esc cos), less tunable, reportidly better built, all newer 16" alloys kat be aware there are lots of copies and faked special editions.
good specialists are www.auto-integrale.co.uk/ , www.evocars.com
bware of walkers, whalley etc tthe above two have the best rep
