      Re: my new car

well, after replacing 12 meters of braided fuel hole and the water hoses and clips,

all the fluids ect, new cam belt and plugs,

it runs, sweat as a nut,

i beleive this car has not been started for years, as there was not a drop of fuel in the bag tank, as soon as i put fuel in it and switched the pumps on , fuel pissed out from everwere,

clad it now runs, just a couple of small jobs now to do, and its track ready once more,

its not been on the track since the end of the 1990 season, so everthing has been checked,

can not wait now as its so close to being ready.

        Glad its running well Martin
Good job you didnt bring it to Castle Combe on Saturday as it was pretty lethal after it started raining
A car that looked like a WRC Escort Cossie but rear wheel drive, was spinning up to 4th gear on start/finnish straight
Have you seen the pics of your car from Willid 1 in the ' touring car section ' yet..

Apart from that is it nearly ready for driving
Have you thought about contacting Labatts about some sponsorship seeing as your car is covered in their name

                          HI, ANDY,

NO NOT YET MATE, BUT MY MECHANIC HAS BEEN BUSY, HE IS GOING TO HAVE ANOTHER LOOK AT IT THIS WEEK,

SPOKE TO ZYTEK AND THEY TELL ME IT SELF DIONOS ITSELF, WITH A LIGHT ON THE BACK, THEY SAID IF IT LIGHTS THEN GOES OUT IT SHOULD BE OK,
IF IT FLASHES THEN THERE IS A PROBLEM.

                          THEY RECONE THERE BUILTPROOF,

SO I WILL CHECK EVERYTHING ELSE FIRST,

CONTACTED LABATTS BY E/MAIL WHEN I FIRST GOT IT, AND I HAVE THEY HAVE NOT CONTACTED ME YET, SO I AM NOT HOLDING MY BREATH,

GOT SOME GOOD SLICK TYRES YESTERDAY, SO SHOULD BE OFF THE JACKS TOMMOROW,

                          MARTIN.

                            HI GARETH,

YOUR ASKING THE WRONG PERSON, ALL ROUSE BUILT CARS HAD THEM,

HE DEVELOPED THE GROUP A RACING SERRIA, SO HE HAD A GOOD IDEA, AND HE ALSO DEVELOPED THIS SERRIA OVER TWO SEASONS,

THE LABATTS CARS HAD A LARGE BUDGET, OF 250K PLUS PER SEASON, (PER CAR) WITH A BUILD COST IN THE 150K REGION
                            EACH.

THESE CARS WHERE PROPER BITS OF KIT.

                            MARTIN.
