Hello my name is jim,and i'm a bimmerholic. 
There,i've said it!
I've had my e30 for two yrs now,and it is the the one thing that i will never part with,you can have the missus,kids,house or any of my other cars but the bimmer stays.
The guy I brought the car from had owned it since new,and had kept all the history,receipts and everything up together,i paid £300 for it,after knocking him down from 750.
Here are some pics just after i bought it (i put the 15" bbs on it):
I only bought it to smoke about in while my cortina was being rebuilt,but i fell in love with it almost straight away,and decided to spend some money on it.
she's now -40mm on koni adjustables with eibach springs,fully polybushed,and full m-tec leather out of a 325i sport (recaros and rear headrests,mmmmm!).
after driving her for about 18mnths like this,i decided to freshen her up a bit in the looks dept,so she's currently up at my local bmw dealer bodyshop being painted (i'm not rich before you lot start asking,just grown up with the bodyshop manager,he's the one that put onto bm's in the first place,it's not what you know and all that stuff)
it's being bare metalled,new o/s wing o/s arch and sill,new bootlid and a truckload of nice shiny lachs silver poured all over the top. i've also got rid of the chrome bumpers and trim,and i'm fitting the later e30 plastic bumpers,front panel and ellipsoid head lights,fog lights etc.
Well,hope i haven't bored you too much with all this stuff,bit passionate about the old girl,don't know if you can tell that at all
